I have had my Zlive for about a year, but I never thought to play my Zune on it until about 6 months after I got it, because I already had another player. My parents had gotten me this one. By the time I thought to really try it out, the warenty had already expired. I would have returned it before but I waited too long. The clock does not work right half of the time and freezes during power blips instead of just shutting off so I wake up and have to reset the thing and I have nearly been late thinking the time is truly an hour or so behind. I had tried the system out when I got it; it worked fine, but when I truly wanted it to play, I put in the batteries and it wouldn’t play. The worst part of this system is that it has to be plugged into a socket AND you have to have four AA batteries. It has played good before, an awesome system when it worked. I would have recommended it if it worked properly.

First of all unless I plug and unplug this system the light on the clock stays on which would be a nice night light if thats what you wanted, but the clock won’t keep the correct time, so seeing the light on all the time just lets me know the clock is wrong, and the sound is good if it would stay stable, the volume keeps going down and I have to thumb it to make it come back up. Should have paid a little more, one that has the radio features, but the look of the speaker dock is ok thats all.

I bought this based on all of the positive reviewes here. When I received it I was surprised at the construction of the item. Very solid, very sleek looking. Unfortunately it falls very flat on the sound. I played with all the EQ settings but still everything sounded tinny and the bass was non-existent. My intent was to use this in my office at work on a very low volume so the quality didn’t have to be that great. Unfortunately just couldn’t get past the bad sound. This was replacing the Altec Lansing (which died after a year) so maybe I was a bit spoiled.

This dock was ok for the price. Sound is acceptable. Looks great but the LCD display has gone busto on my one and random numbers appear so it kind of makes the whole unit look a bit crap. I just realised today that there is only a 90 day warranty which is really bad in my view so I can’t do anything with it.
