This mount sags when the TV is placed on it. It weighs the arms down and the arms sag down on one side more than the other. There is no way to adjust it other than mounting the face plate to the studs crooked to adjust for the problem when the arms sag from weight of TV. I definitely don’t recommend this mount!

I have had a 52″ Philips LCD for over a year now and have been searching for a swivel mount that can come off the wall so I can wire or re-wire my componets to the tv. Every mount I came accross at my local stores (Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Target) were all in the hundreds, some close to $400.00. Rediculous! I decided to check online and see what I could find. So I googled large LCD swivel mounts and I found a lot on Amazon that sell thru another party. I found three mounts that stuck out for me, this one, another made by cheetah, and another one made by Videosecu. I ultimatley eneded up choosing this one beacuse it has duel arms that hold the LCD up instead of just one (Cheetah mount) I wanted to make sure that the arms would hold up my 89lb LCD.
I ordered the mount on Decemebr 16th and recieved it on December 23rd. On Amazon.com the description said it weighs between 40 lbs. and 50 lbs. for the shipping weight. The package I recieved weighed 21.5 lbs, So I assumed they sent me the wrong mount so I opened it up any ways to take a look and I looked online to see if the model numbers were the same and they were except online the model number was MW360BH and the one I received was MW360B does the missing H really matter I thought? Inside the box does not give you a max load weight but all other measurements were correct and matched. I deceided to put the mount up any ways. I read on other reviews for this product that the hardware given in the box to hang the mount were less than efficent so I looked at them and yes, they are pretty low grade lag screws, so I went to Home Depot and bought four 5/16×3 lag screws and four 3/8 washers. I also before hand bought a stud finder that finds the middle of the studs. Make sure that your studs are no more that 16.5 inches apart or else the mount will NOT work. Make sure you hit the middle of the studs with the lag screws or else you will be crying your self to sleep over a busted LCD or plazma that fell off the wall. The mount it self is very sturdy and is made of good solid materials. I measured to the center of my wall and then marked where the studs are. I drilled small pilot holes and screwed one top corener in and while I held it up I checked where it was with a level marked the the side to be drilled. That was the hadrest part do. This job might require a another person. The mount is not easy to hold up, level, and screw down by your self. After I got the mount bolted down I checked the stability of it by putting some weight on it. I weigh 220lbs and hung most of my weight on it and it did not budge at all. Put the tv on and slid it on evenly. Perfect. Buy this mount!

I ordered this mount on 12/16/09,received on 12/22/09 (not bad with weekend in time frame)
It came fully assembled w/HDMI included,I didn’t need the directions as I had installed and taken down the bracket that I purchased from Bestbuy at $379 plus tax. I did however “upgrade” the bolts that were provided as I didn’t
have much faith in those. All in all, this mount seems very sturdy and well constructed and well worth the price!!!
I would definetely buy from you again!

All the good and bad reviews on this item are correct.
Used it on an LN52b750 Samsung. No problems holding the weight(~65lbs) of the TV. I installed mine into Studs.
Because the Studs aren’t exactly centered with where I would like the TV, the “hooks” that mount to the TV and attach the TV to the wall mount are not perfectly centered on the wall mount, this is probably why the set is not perfectly level when extended any distance from the wall. I have not tried to correct the problem, it is noticeable but it’s only off by ~1.5 degrees.
If doing it again, I would install the mount slightly un-level, making the left side as I’m looking at the wall about 1 degree higher than the right side, your results may vary. If you must have the TV level when extended I would recommend installing it a couple inches higher or lower than your final install position so that you can move the TV higher or lower for the second install. This would allow four brand new holes to be drilled.
For my install, the TV looks level when it is pushed against the wall. The mount is perfectly Level as installed on the wall. You will need longer than 6′ HDMI cable from tv to your a/v receiver in order to route the cables as discretely as possible, I can almost guarantee it (I recommend 10′ minimum). I also mounted my TV about 3-5″ higher than I should of, make sure you take everything into account when choosing a height.
Right now, my TV tilts ~5 degrees toward the floor, which I thought I would change but it actually feels right that way when watching (perhaps because I mounted a bit too high). I haven’t tried to adjust it to be flat relative to the wall yet, so I can’t vouch for how well that will work.
Mount is extremley sturdy and it included all the hardware needed to mount to Studs. Other reviewers talked about purchasing additional hardware for a more secure installation, this had me worried when I bought this mount. IMO that is 100% unnecessary, the hardware provided is more than adequate, then again my TV doesn’t weigh 150lbs.
Instructions are really non existent but installation is very straightforward. Mount the hooks to the TV, mount the mount to the wall (use a stud finder so your precious TV doesn’t fall off the wall), Place the hooks on the mount, done.
Two people would make installation easier, but I did it alone because my girlfriend was busy crafting or something and didn’t want to help, I think she was more irritated that I was doing all this while that wedding dress show was on TLC. One person with some patience can install it, I’m 6′ tall 150lbs, so you don’t have to be he-man. As an aside, you may be able to find this mount on your favorite auction site a bit cheaper, noticed one there today.

I bought this mount for a 50″ Pioneer plasma that weighs about 85 lbs. After two days, the top arms on both sides are sagging a bit. It may be an initial break in, but I’m concerned that it will continue.
If it holds I’ll come back and change my review, but right now the mere concern that it might fail is enough for me to not fully recommend this product.
Also, the screws that allow you to adjust the vertical viewing angle are not strong enough to hold a TV of this size. The TV dips to the bottom viewing angle and there’s little you can do about it.
