I initially bought this item with great reservation because of it price range and you can hardly find any information or any place else that sale it. It turns out to be a good buy after all. It is quite sturdy and strong. I use it on the 52″ LCD. It provides extension more than most other mount provide (4″-33″), which allow you to turn almost 90 degree for your big screen depend on the size of your TV, and also allow easy access to cable connection on the back. Not bad for this unknow rare find.

When I initially ordered this, like others, I had my reservations. For a fraction of the cost of other comparable mounts, how could this one compare? Well let me tell you, you will not be disappointed. It is very well built and comes with a lot of extra hardware so one way or another this thing will fit on your TV. I own a 52″ Samsung and it fit perfectly on it even though there is no mention of a 52″ on their description. The veritical bars can adjust from side to side so this gives you a ton of room to play with for attaching it to your TV. You can’t really see it from the picture on this site but they are also slotted as well. Quality product at a reasonable price, they might be on to something here.

After reading all the reviews, I decided to go with this mount. After installing it on the wall, I extended it all the way out an hung on the end of it (I weigh 205 lb.) to test it out. It had no problem supporting my weight, I mean NO problem. I then installed my Panasonic 65″ plasma (133 lb.). It holds it very well and securely. The instructions do stink, so if you’re not mechanically inclined, you may have trouble. The instructions say it only goes up to a 63″ and the item subscription on Amazon says 65″. The instructions do say it can support 200 lbs. I had to flip the tv mounting plates in order for it to fit my tv (it doesn’t affect the mechanical integrity of the unit). One note, I installed washers on the bolts that go though the unit into the wall stud. The bolts that come with the mount are beefy enough, but the head of the bolt in my view doesn’t grab a hold of enough metal on the mount. Pre drill your holes of course in the center of a stud and then use a good wood glue as a lubricant to install your bolts into the stud.

For the one bad review that said it could not support their tv and the tv looked like it was going to nose dive into the floor. I can only say that maybe they received a defective product or maybe the installer didn’t install it correctly (maybe on purpose) and benefited by selling them something else (made money on a sale AND labor). Whatever the case, I can attest that this is a well made solid product and does what it’s supposed to, hold your tv securely on the wall.

I have a 50″ 80# Panasonic Plasma and the mount works great. My 75# daughter swang from it fully extended and then her two 70# friends did pull ups, it moved 1/8″. I’m 240#, got below it, gave it a hard yank, and felt confident that it’ll hold my prized plasma.

If you’re on this site, you are a do-it-yourselfer and should not be imtimidated by the installation. I put it together on the carpet before I put it on the wall for a visual of how it all works. Just be ready to adjust the bracket to the TV several times before it’s lined up. Bolt the mount to the wall (I used 4 more 3″ lag bolts than the 4 provided). Attach the bracket to the TV . And then attach the screen w bracket to the mount.

Hardest part is picking up and lining up the screen. I had my plasma on a credenza, left the stand on w a few screws, and slipped books under it to get it close while wife and son held it. I tipped it and got one bolt in, then another,… Do not do this alone or w 1 other friend. Get some muscle and have 2 others hold the screen to the mount and power the bolts in.

I was very careful to ensure the mount was level to the wall, the brackets were level to the screen, and then the attachment was level as well. You should do this, but I discovered that the attachment will ‘swivel’ +-5 degrees and hold itself. This is an added feature that they should list. Very nice.

Only complaint is that the instructions should be larger font and label the bolts accordingly.

    Good luck and happy shopping.

Savings are huge compared to retail wall mounts. I priced several vendors. Great product for my 60″ Plasma. Very Heavy Duty- Could hang an elephant off this mount. Articulates nearly 40″. GREAT PRODUCT_ARRIVED ON TIME
