I purchased these for an ’88 Fiero. The speaker quality is great as compared to the stock Delco speakers. In addition the price was fantastic! The only thing that may be troubling is the Pyle’s magnets are large compared to the stock. You will need to slit the pillar in the frame of the car behind the grilles for them to fit. This may intimidate some people.

I bought these speakers to replace stock speakers on my 1994 Nissan Maxima. The sound quality is decent and so far I would say I’m pretty happy with them. I haven’t really had to chance to blast them with high treble or bass to see how it holds up but the main purpose was to replace defective speakers and I think it’s a worthy consideration.

i bought these to replace the tweeters on the top of my dash. besides having a surprising large amount of treble, all i can say is that in my eyes speakers are speakers. these are cheap, powerful and i don’t see the reason to buy $110 pair of 4×6′s that will work the same as these: GOOD BUY!

I bough these with no expectation of them being high quality speakers. They were just something to replace by tired old stock speakers in my ’97 Wrangler. However, after only one day (and no more than 3/4 volume from the stock radio) on of them developed a noticeable crackle. I guess I’m not surprised, maybe I even broke it putting it in (doubt it). But, in the long run I’d say you usually always better off spending a bit more to get something better…someday I’ll learn.

These are good speakers for the money. However, these DO NOT fit the YJ without customizing. The tweeter and midrange stick out farther than the speaker edge. To make it work I cut up the old factory speaker and used the plastic ring as a spacer. Other than that, they work as expected nothing great, but they did go into a YJ with no top or doors.
