Arrived on time, perfectly packed in original box, and to be truly, I find it just like the new one, which is $150 more. All accesories included (cables, cd, manual).

The system arrived very promptly and well packaged. It was a refurb,so I was concerned of it’s condition, but I was like new!The setup was very quick and painless!System sounds great, but I wish the sub was adjustable! That’s the only downfall of this unit as I see it.

Bose always impresses me when it comes to sound quality. I had been wanting one of these systems but the retail price was a bit much for me. So a few years back when I was in a bose outlet and they had these I just had to buy one. I’ve now been using this speaker system for over 5 years and it still sounds as good today as it did when I first brought it home.
I was at first worried about it being factory-renewed. Since it wasn’t “new” I wasn’t sure what to expect. But the product looked brand new, came with the same new warranty and had a hefty discount over the new units. I was glad I went the factory-renewed route.
The only thing I don’t like about this speaker system is you can’t adjust the audio levels at all. For instance I would have liked to been able to turn the bass up for some movies and down for others. But this system won’t let you do that. To be honest it isn’t needed as the technology auto detects the levels needed. But sometimes it’s nice to have that little extra control.
Overall this is a great product. Like I said I’ve been using my factory-renewed cinemate system for 5+ years now and it still sounds great. I recommend this to anyone with a basic home theater setup.

I was a bit scared to spend so much on a refurbished item. But it was worth it as I’ve always wanted to own a good set of speakers.
The sound quality is good but it varies at different spots in my room. Its not so great when you are within less than 4 ft from the subwoofer. Also, since it has only 2 speakers, the sound quality in the further corners of the room is not as good.
One important feature missing is that you cannot adjust bass or the effect of sub-woofer.
Well, the conclusion is… pretty good but could have been better.
