This entertainment center literally makes my living room. I have high ceilings in my living room (14 feet) and any regular Tv stand would have looked like a dwarf in my space. Also with 2 patio sized windows I only had one corner available to put my 50″ flat screen in. Looking at all the local furniture stores I could not find a corner unit for anything more then a 42″ screen so I had to seek online. I really did NOT want to put anything together myself but I couldnt pass it up being I needed a corner unit with hutch for a 50″ TV. ANd I got lucky cause the cost was half of what the manufacturer charges and with free shipping to boot! Even though this is for up to 60″ TVs my 50 incher looks like it was made to go in this unit. The color is a very rich dark chocolate color that matches espresso colored furniture perfectly. I will admit it took myself and a friend 7 total hours to put this together, but the end result is surely worth it. It arrived via freight direct from Ameriwood about a week after ordering. Thank you Amazon for a great product, speedy free delivery and a great price!

It Will Take You About 5 To 6 Hours To Put This Together……but It’s Worth All That Time……it Looks Awesome…..it’s Huge…..larger Than In The Photo And Fits Perfect In My Living Room……but Now I Need A Larger TV….mine Looks Lost In The Unit…..i Love It And Am More Than Happy With The Service And Lighting Fast Shipping! I Received It In Two Days After I Placed My Order…….The Dark Brown Color Looks So Rich…..Much Better Than Black!

I was so excited when I ordered this but that quickly faded when we opened the box. This is not black. It is brown. At first, I thought that it was a packaging error and that a brown one had accidentally been put in the wrong box. However, this is the only color that they sell. Do not buy this if you actually want a black piece of furniture.

Let me just say that this piece exceeded my expectations! It is beautiful and masculine and matched perfectly with my living room furniture. I expected the wood to be black but it is most definitely a darkest brown color which I love even more. It took me about 8 full hours to assemble it, but I’m not complaining, I’d do it all over again for the $299 I paid (you won’t find anything this beautiful and large for under $800 new, believe me, I looked everywhere!)!! It is also larger than I expected (over 5 feet tall and wide, but slim in depth because its made for the newer flat screen TVs). I love this piece so much and I’m getting compliments on it from everyone who comes into my living room!! It can be used in a corner like it is made for and can also be placed in front of a single wall. I’m so surprised that I’m the first person to make a review on this because it is such an excellent piece.
Oh, the reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the top molding and center shelf were a little scuffed up from shipping, and the MDF wood (light in color) showed through. But that was easily fixable with a black magic marker. Also, it took 2 weeks of anxiously waiting to receive it because the shippers lost my phone number so I had to call them after a week of waiting. If the shipping had been on time and hadn’t damaged the few pieces, I would have definitely given this a 5 star rating.
