THIS IS OLD WATCH THE NEW VIDEO ABOUT THE SCIENCE BEHIND THE COMPARISON FEATURING TRITTON AX PRO’S www.youtube.com This is supposed to be a video response to woody’s gamertag. He concluded headsets were better, I disagreed( even with 5.1 headsets-the speakers are too close together to have a reliable localization effect) so I did this video with some friends to add more evidence to the debate. Granted it looked like he was using a home theater in a box and I have a high end marantz receiver with energy speakers, however if u calibrate even the cheapest surround system I believe it will offer you much more of an advantage than even the most expensive gaming headsets. 2 speakers cant compare to 6, especially when most games come in 5.1 surround sound, and they usually sound amazing, what do you think?

www.amazon.com ZVOX 550HSD Low-Profile Single-Cabinet Surround Sound System with Optical and Coaxial Digital Inputs I’d highly recommend this product, particularly for smaller rooms. Yet, I will consider the 550HSD or the 575HSD for my living room when the time comes for me to upgrade my video set-up there. In this room, I will actually consider downsizing my 5.1 speakers to clean up the walls and wiring and replace them with the clean Zvox. I’d likely keep the sub for the larger room, and the Zvox had an output for a subwoofer…nice.

I’m getting a new home theater system to go with my new HDTV. I want to have the best possible audio and video. I know for the best picture I’m gunna get an HDMI cable for audio and video. And I know for the best sound I would need to get a digital optical audio cable. But if the HDMI cable carries audio and video, is the digital optical audio cable necessary? Would it make it sound even better? Thanks ahead of time.

I just recently purchased a Panasonic TH-50PX75U Plasma and the Panasonic SC-PT650 Home Theater System. I didn’t want to pay for the installation so we did it on our own. The only problem e have encountered is we can not get the surround sound to work when just watching cable or playing video games. It only works when using the DVD player. Is there a way to make it work?
Will these answeres provide surround sound when using Nintendo Wii?
